Associate Dentist · Founding team

Do only what a dentist has to do. We built the rest.

Most associate roles hand you a production column and a daily number, then wonder why good dentists burn out. Restoro is the opposite bet. The founding premise is that the dentist is the single scarce resource, so the entire studio exists to spend your minutes only where a dentist is genuinely required — and to hand the rest to a team built to carry it. Hygienists and EFDAs run the choreography; you get dentist-ready rooms on a flexible window, diagnose, treat, and move. No column. No quota. No half-day cleanings eating your license.

This is founded and owned by Restoro's founder — a Russian-speaking, US-trained dentist who ran corporate dentistry's machine and left with the blueprints for a better one. We're hiring the founding associate for a studio opening September 2026 in the Ponte Vedra–Nocatee corridor: 7am to 7pm, seven days a week, walk-ins as the default. The pitch is plain: practice the way you meant to when you started, get paid above market for it, and have a real path to ownership as we grow from one clinic to three.

What it's like

A window, never an interruption

You don't chase a schedule. The system flags rooms as they become dentist-ready — "Room 3 needs an exam in the next 10–30 minutes" — and you float between them at natural pauses. Two dentists load-balance as we scale. You practice unhurried because the supporting work is already done before you walk in.

Top of your license, all day

Diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative, endo, surgical and cosmetic work within your scope — the dentistry only a dentist can do. Prep a tooth and an EFDA finishes the restoration under your direct supervision. Cleanings, scans, X-rays, whitening, and patient education happen without you. Your day is dense with the work you trained for and light on the work you didn't.

Honest numbers replace hard selling

Fees are published before the patient sits down and confirmed in writing before treatment. Membership math is transparent. That removes the pressure to upsell and the awkwardness of surprise billing — you diagnose honestly, quote from a public schedule, and let the patient decide. Trust is the business model, not a slogan.

Modern, and built around you

DEXIS imaging, CBCT for implant and complex planning, Open Dental, digital workflows throughout — a studio speced new in 2026. Russian-speaking colleagues front and center, above-market pay, a cash profit-share, and a founding seat with an ownership path as clinics two and three open.

A day in the life

  1. You arrive to rooms already in motion. Across the floor, hygienists and assistants are running cleanings, scans, and X-rays; the board shows you which rooms will need an exam and roughly when.

  2. You float to a dentist-ready room, review the images and the hygienist's findings, examine, and diagnose. Everything you need is already on screen — you're deciding, not gathering.

  3. For restorative cases you prep and diagnose, authorize the restoration, and move on while the EFDA places and contours it under your direct supervision — you return to approve the work before the patient leaves.

  4. You quote from the published fee schedule in plain language, a coordinator handles payment and membership questions, and the patient decides without pressure. Then you're on to the next window.

  5. Longer procedures — a molar endo, a surgical extraction, an implant placement — get their own booked blocks so they're never rushed by the queue. You pause them at natural stopping points when a room needs a quick exam, then return.

  6. Peak hours are triage: emergencies first, essentials protected, optional work deferred. Quiet hours open up for the unhurried cases and consults. Either way, you're spending your minutes on dentistry, not logistics — and you leave when your shift ends.

Where it can go

A real path to ownership

Clinic one is Restoro's founder's Florida PLLC — Florida law keeps a dental practice dentist-owned. As we open clinic two, an MSO holds the brand, tech, equipment, and leases, and it's the vehicle for associate and staff equity. A founding associate who helps build the model is exactly who that path is designed for.

Lead dentist as we scale

The plan is clinic one, then three, with the founder floating between them. The associate who helped make the first studio work is first in line to anchor and lead the next ones — the clinical standard-bearer for a growing group.

Deepen your scope

The model frees your time for the dentistry you want to grow into — implants, endo, cosmetic cases, sedation. We support the CE and credentialing that widens what you offer.

Build something, not just staff it

This is a founding seat in a studio out to change how dentistry is delivered. You help shape protocols, equipment, and hiring — and share in what it becomes. "We're disrupting dental, and clinics two and three are coming" isn't a slogan here; it's the plan you'd be joining.

The license is mandatory. The philosophy is the real fit.

A dentist has to be licensed — that part isn't negotiable. What we're actually screening for is philosophy: a dentist who wants to do dentistry, not run a production treadmill; who'd rather quote from a published schedule than pressure a nervous patient; who sees a team running the choreography as freedom, not a loss of control. If that's how you think about the work, we'll invest heavily in you — above-market pay now, a genuine ownership path as we grow, and the CE to deepen whatever you want to master.

What you'll need

  • Active Florida dental license (DDS or DMD) in good standing with the Florida Board of Dentistry.
  • Current DEA registration and the ability to obtain Florida controlled-substance prescribing privileges.
  • Professional liability (malpractice) insurance, or eligibility to be covered.
  • Current BLS; ACLS as required for any sedation privileges.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Nice to have

  • Russian or Spanish — a real asset with our patient base, and a differentiator we're built around.
  • Experience with implants, molar endodontics, oral surgery, clear aligners, or cosmetic cases.
  • A Florida sedation permit (or interest in obtaining one).
  • Comfort with digital workflows: DEXIS, CBCT, intraoral scanning, digital treatment planning.
  • An entrepreneurial streak — you want to help build a group, not just clock into one.

Pay & philosophy

Above-market compensation with a guaranteed base — deliberately not a pure production model, and never a daily quota. On top of the base, a cash profit-share ties your income to how the studio does overall, and a genuine ownership path opens through our MSO as we expand from one clinic to three. We'd rather pay well and free you to practice honestly than dangle a production percentage that pushes overtreatment. Exact structure, base, profit-share, and equity terms are set at hiring.

Questions, answered plainly

Is compensation production-based?

No. There's a guaranteed above-market base, plus a cash profit-share tied to the studio's overall performance — not a per-procedure percentage and never a daily quota. The whole model is designed so you're not incentivized to overtreat; you diagnose honestly and quote from a public schedule.

What's the path to partnership or ownership?

Clinic one is the founder's Florida PLLC (Florida law keeps practices dentist-owned). As we open clinic two, an MSO holds the brand, tech, and equipment and becomes the vehicle for associate and staff equity. A founding associate is exactly who that path is built for.

How does the no-appointment model change a dentist's day?

It removes the schedule column and the interruptions. The team runs cleanings, imaging, and prep; you get dentist-ready rooms on a flexible 10–30 minute window and float between them at natural pauses. Longer procedures get their own booked blocks. You spend your day on dentistry, not logistics.

Do I need to speak Russian?

No — but it's a genuine asset. The studio is built in part around Jacksonville's Russian-speaking community, and the founder is a Russian-speaking dentist. Spanish helps too. If you're bilingual, it matters to us and to the patients.

What are the hours and coverage like across seven days?

Open 7am–7pm, seven days a week, covered by shifts — and load-balanced across two dentists as we scale, so it never means one dentist carrying open-to-close alone. We build a sustainable schedule because we want the founding associate here for the long build.

Where is the studio, and when does it open?

The Ponte Vedra–Nocatee corridor in southeast Jacksonville, opening September 2026; exact address announced at lease signing. We're hiring the founding team now, ahead of doors opening, with credentialing filed the day the lease signs.
