Emergency dentist · Mandarin

Emergency care for Mandarin's thirty-year-old dental work.

Mandarin's oaks aren't the only things in the neighborhood with deep roots. A community this settled carries decades of dentistry in its mouths — crowns seated in the nineties, bridges older than the 9B interchange, fillings from offices on San Jose Blvd whose founding dentists have since retired to the golf course. Old work is good work until the evening it isn't: the crown that lifts off with a caramel, the bridge that starts rocking over Sunday dinner near Mandarin Park.

When that evening comes, the offices that placed the work are dark — and often can't see you until midweek even in daylight. Restoro opens in September 2026 across the 9B interchange on the Ponte Vedra–Nocatee corridor, deliberately open 7am to 7pm all seven days. From Loretto Rd or San Jose Blvd you ride 9B east while commuter traffic runs the other way, check in at the kiosk, and an emergency flag moves you up the queue before the paperwork exists.

Our bias with legacy work is preservation, priced in the open: re-seating a sound crown is $95, a temporary filling $150, the emergency exam $75 and credited against the same day's treatment. If something truly can't be saved, you'll hear the honest options — with founding-schedule numbers in writing — before anything irreversible happens. And the standing rule: unstoppable bleeding or swelling that touches breathing or swallowing is an ER matter, not a dental one.

Why this works from here

A Restoro treatment room with a sink station and the ring-logo screen
  • Loretto Rd or San Jose Blvd to the 9B interchange — one road east, no beach traffic involved
  • Re-seating a sound crown costs a published $95 — worth knowing in a neighborhood where much of the dental work predates the 9B interchange
  • Weekend evenings covered until 7pm — precisely when legacy dental work likes to quit

Questions, answered plainly

The dentist who made my bridge retired years ago. Can you work on another dentist's dentistry?

All the time — it's half of what emergency care is. We'll X-ray, tell you exactly what's failing and what isn't, and fix the failure. What you won't get is the 'this all has to come out and be redone' speech; thirty-year-old work that's still serving you deserves respect, not a sales funnel.

My crown came off and I swallowed it. How bad is that?

For you, usually not very — swallowed crowns generally pass without trouble, though see a doctor promptly if you were coughing or choking, which can mean it went toward the airway. For the tooth, the clock matters more: the exposed core underneath is soft and sensitive. Come in; a new ceramic crown is $1,250 ($999 member) on the published schedule.

Is Mandarin honestly within your range for an emergency?

Honestly: it's a drive — across 9B to the corridor — and for a routine Tuesday cleaning you have closer choices. The math changes at 6pm Saturday with a throbbing tooth, when 'closer' is closed until Monday and we're open until 7 both weekend days. That's the case we built for.

There's bleeding around an old bridge when I brush — emergency or appointment?

Brushing bleeding alone is a prompt-appointment problem, usually gum-related. It becomes same-day when there's spontaneous bleeding, swelling, a bad taste that suggests infection, or the bridge itself is moving. And bleeding that won't stop with pressure is beyond both of us — that's emergency-room territory.

What am I looking at if the crown can't just be re-glued?

Then the exam earns its keep: you get the actual diagnosis and the actual founding-schedule numbers — core buildup $295 if the tooth needs rebuilding, new crown $1,250, or if the tooth is past saving, extraction from $195 with replacement options laid out calmly. Every path is priced on paper before you choose one.

Come in when it works for you.

We open September 2026 in the Ponte Vedra–Nocatee corridor. Founding members lock $29/month for life — cleanings, exams, X-rays, and a whitening touch-up with every visit.
